Rooms and availability
The bedroom suites were fantastic and spacious
Good location near the mountains. Spacious room. Excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was also excellent, wide selection.
We had a room for disabled people. Therefore the badroom was not elegant and not functional. Almost no space to brush your teeth or wash your hands. We had booked the room 6 months ago. Strange that we end up in a disabled room.
We had a very nice stay. The welcome was excellent and very inviting. We were attending a wedding in teh hotel and all my friends were very pleased with the hotel and staff.
Very quiet and a good nights sleep.
We had to wait to long for our bar food which was very mediocre when it arrived.
First class accommodation, quiet surroundings after attending a very lively wedding lasting 4 days.
the setting and grounds of the hotel were excellent also first class friendly staff who could not do enough everyone extremely pleasant Also food was excellent.
just as a personal note would love to see a swimming pool there
After my 3rd visit to this hotel I really like the fact that the standards are maintained over the years. The local facilities for golf, hill walking and watersports are excellent. Rooms are well equipped, spacious and clean. Staff are superb. I look forward to future visits to this hotel.
spacious and friendly would have been nice to get I evening meal with this offer
not getting 1 evening meal with this stay
We were at a Christening near Blessington, so my wife, my son and I stayed here for 1 night. The views are beautiful. The room was big and clean, lovely spacious shower. Managed to book in early as the hotel staff made special effort to clean the room from the night before. A camp bed was put in the room for my son which was ideal. The games room was great, played table tennis, air hockey, pool and table football with my son. HIghly recommended.
The staff were very helpful and did their best.
Very large and impersonal, definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. Rooms very far away from reception with the feel of an institution in the bar and dining room.
nice quiet location.good views clean tidy
restaurant full... driven 500 miles ,got changed went to dinner.... but no table had to change again and drive n not drink to remote village , reception were good enough tell us off..
Location, cleanliness, friendly staff and facilities.
The water in the bath from the shower took ages to get away possibly blockage. There was no stopper for sink in the bathroom. Alsod the bath towels were small more like large hand towels.
Great stay helpful staff and good value for money.
When settling the bill I was not given the option to pay in sterling
The hotel is situated in a very scenic location, at the same time being convenient to Dublin. The room was big and quiet. We ate in the bar and couldn't fault the food-especially the chicken wings! There was a really good chilled out atmosphere there.
The hotel is lovely and in a very scenic location. The staff were friendly and efficient and the room was luxurious, spacious, comfortable and very clean. There is a lake drive nearby with gorgeous views and there are many attractions close by including Russborough House and Glendalough.
